Your QHHT Journey: Questions & Answers

1. What exactly is Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT)?

QHHT is a beautiful and transformative method of hypnosis developed by the pioneering Dolores Cannon over 45 years. It is a journey into a state of deep relaxation and focused awareness—a state you naturally enter into twice a day, just before you fall asleep and just as you awaken.

In this relaxed state, we can connect with a part of ourselves that holds all the answers and has our best interests at heart. This part of you is often called the Higher Self or the Subconscious. It is the source of all your wisdom, creativity, and healing potential. The purpose of a session is to access this profound wisdom for insight, healing, and guidance.

2. I'm afraid of being unconscious. Will I lose control?

This is the most important and common question, and I’m so glad you asked. The answer is simple and absolute: You are in complete control, always.

It's a common misconception, thanks to stage hypnosis, that you will be "put under" or unconscious. This is not the case at all. QHHT guides you into a state similar to a vivid daydream.

  • You are the Observer: You will be aware and observing the experience, much like watching a film. You are always in the driver's seat of the journey.

  • I am Your Guide, Not Your Driver: My role is simply to be your guide and facilitator. I ask questions on your behalf, but you are the one experiencing and reporting what you see. You can choose to pull back from anything you don't wish to see.

  • You Can Stop at Any Time: You have the power to stop the session at any moment, simply by thinking it or saying it. You are always safe and in charge.

Think of it this way: your body is deeply relaxed, but your mind is more awake and focused than ever. You are not losing control; you are gaining access to a deeper level of your own consciousness.

3. What if I can't be hypnotised?

Another very common concern! The truth is, everyone can be hypnotised because it’s a natural state of mind. If you've ever been so engrossed in a good book or a film that you lost track of time, or driven a familiar route and not remembered parts of the journey, you've been in a state of hypnosis.

The only requirements for a successful session are an open mind and a genuine desire to connect with your inner wisdom. It’s not about me "doing" something to you; it's about you allowing yourself to relax and go on an inner journey. My role is to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive space here in my practice to help you do that.

 

4. What if I just "make it all up"?

This is a question the logical mind loves to ask! The information and experiences that come through during a session flow from the creative, intuitive part of your consciousness. To the logical mind, this can feel like imagination.

Dolores Cannon herself said it perfectly: trust whatever comes. Whether it feels like a vivid memory, a story, a metaphor, or pure imagination, it is coming from your Higher Self for a reason. The information always contains a deeper meaning and relevance for your current life. We don't worry about "proving" it; we focus on the healing and insight the message brings. The most profound healing often comes from experiences that feel like "just a story."

5. What kind of things can QHHT help me with?

The possibilities are truly limitless, as we are tapping into your own infinite wisdom. Clients come from all over Ireland seeking help with a wide range of issues. The most common areas of benefit include:

6. Is my session confidential?

Absolutely, 100%. Your session is a sacred space. Everything that is discussed and experienced is held in the strictest confidence. It is a completely private and non-judgmental environment for your healing and discovery.

7. How should I prepare for my session?

Preparation is simple. The most important thing is to come with an open heart and a list of your most important life questions. Don't rehearse or overthink it. Just relax and trust the process. When you book, I will send you a detailed guide on how to prepare your questions and yourself for the best possible experience. The main advice is to set a clear intention to receive the information and healing that is most appropriate for you at this time.

 

8. How long is a session and what is the investment?

A QHHT session is a deep and comprehensive experience, so we dedicate a significant amount of time to your journey. A typical session lasts between 4 to 6 hours. This includes our initial chat where we go over your life and your questions, the hypnosis experience itself (which is usually around 2 hours), and our discussion afterwards to ground the experience.
